You can give Admoxy Duo Dry Syrup to your child with or without food, though it is recommended to give it with food to improve absorption and reduce the chance of stomach upset. The doctor will prescribe the appropriate dose based on the severity of the infection, its type, and your child’s weight and age. Always follow the prescribed dose, timing, and method. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, wait for them to calm down and repeat the dose. However, do not double the dose if it is close to the time for the next one.
Admoxy contains two different medicines, Amoxycillin and Potassium Calavulunate, that work together to kill the bacteria that cause infections. Amoxycillin works by stopping the growth of bacteria Potassium Clavulanate offers improved stability and solubility, making it more suitable.
